American Cultural Experience (ACE) Program

We invite international students to experience the American culture and our school.  This program is ideal for an international student's first visit to the United States.  

  • Short program (2, 3, or 4 week options available)

  • Group sizes from 5 to 30 students

  • ACE programs are held in the summer or in early winter

  • Field trips are arranged to visit well known Southern California locations such as Disneyland, Universal Studios, or the Getty Center museum.  Students also attend sports events, visit local government offices, beaches, or local shopping malls

  • Students attend ESL classes to help with language skills and to learn about American culture, holidays, and customs

  • Students stay with host families (based on availability of host families) or the AVCS residential center, an on-campus facility designed for international students

  • A lot of fun, excitement, and challenge!
