Fun In The Son...

“Fun in the Son” summer camp if offered for grades 1-8. Our program provides all campers with safe structured leisure-time activities, which contribute to their spiritual, physical, emotional and social well being. Students’ days are filled with Bible stories, Arts and Crafts, organized games, tournaments, weekly field trips and much more. Every summer is a worthwhile adventure.

Summer School...

At AVCS we offer an eight week Elementary Summer School for kindergarten through 6th grade. Students attend Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Day Care is available before and after this program. Summer school students are welcome to join the Fun in the Son Program on Fridays. Most Fridays will feature exciting field trips to places in our town and surrounding areas.

Summer School generally begins one week after the regular school year has ended. The curriculum for the summer includes language, reading comprehension, mathematics, history, science, and spelling. A positive learning environment is created as students and teacher work together. This program is set up for enrichment and remedial, providing a great advantage for students needing to catch up and an opportunity for motivated students to move ahead.

Our Summer School dress code allows for cool clothing in good taste, such as shorts and tank tops.
